Dr. Michael Slatnik

Dr. Michael Slatnik

Dr. Slatnik grew up in Edmonton, AB went to medical school at Western University in London, ON. He completed his rural family medicine residency in Kelowna through UBC. Dr. Slatnik is the Chief of Staff at Boundary District Hospital and provides service there in the ER, inpatient ward and long term care.  He and Dr. Dressler moved to Grand Forks after residency and settled there, now with two kids and an expanding hobby farm. He has enjoyed serving the West Boundary since 2014.

Dr. Jennifer Dressler

Dr. Jennifer Dressler

Dr. Dressler is originally from Regina, SK and went to medical school at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed her rural family medicine residency in Kelowna through UBC. She also completed training in advanced obstetrics and provides prenatal care locally and maternity care in Trail. She loves the outdoors and the friendly and down to earth people in the Boundary.

Carly Hill

Carly Hill

Carly is originally from Calgary, AB and moved to Kamloops, BC to pursue her nursing degree. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Certified Practice in Contraceptive Management. She started my nursing career in Public Health in Kamloops where she fell in love with caring for and empowering families. She recently moved to the West Boundary area in March 2022 which brought her closer to family, and it already feels like home. She was drawn to the opportunity to work in rural communities and Primary Care combines her love of family health with her interest in learning and growing as a health care provider. She enjoys having the opportunity to engage as a member of this community, and looks forward to providing individualized care in the area for years to come.
Lori Kirkwood

Lori Kirkwood

Lori was born and raised in New Westminster, BC. After graduating highschool there, she worked for the Ford Motor Company as the Administrative Assistant. After 17 years of balancing full-time work and three young children, she moved with her family to Grand Forks in 1997. In January, 1999, she took on an MOA position with the Boundary Medical Clinic in Grand Forks. In 2014, she moved to the Greenwood Medical Clinc with Dr. Slatnik and over a short time, Dr. Dressler and the rest of our amazing team joined us. When not working, she does a lot of walking, enjoys cross country skiing and spending as muhc time as possible with her three children.
Anita Adams

Anita Adams

Anita was born and raised in Southern California. Historically her work experience is in dentistry. She married her husband in 2011 and moved from the United States in April 2012. She became a Canadian Citizen in March of 2020. She lives in Midway with her husband in the home her husband grew up in. Anita joined the Greenwood Medical Clinic in February of 2021. She enjoys hiking, cross country skiing and walking her dog, Elliott. The highlight of her and her husband’s lives is spending time with their children and 10 grandchildren.
